The Lodge is located on a 400-acre farm and situated on the Eastern slopes of Cerro Chato and the Southern slopes of Arenal Volcanoes. In fact, the views of the Cerro Chato Volcano and the main active crater of the amazing Arenal Volcano are impressive, and show both its green side as well as its active crater. Its location, bordering both Arenal and Cerro Chato Volcanoes, The Arenal National Park and the Fortuna Waterfall, allows our guests and visitors to observe unlimited quantities of birds, wildlife and fauna in the forests. The GreenLagon Administration has established the TreeLand Farms, a program to rebuild corridors of forest and to complete the Monteverde-Cerro Chato Forest as they were in the past to improve and extend the Biodiversity of our area, Wildlife Sanctuaries, and restore and protect nature, as well as to protect the 5 natural Springs in our property. GreenLagoon Enterprise has also affiliated with TIES or The International Ecotourism Association, CANAECO or Camara Nacional de Ecoturismo, The RainForest Alliance, the Willderness Medical Socity and the Medical Tourism Association to better serve our visitors and guests and also to advance our initiatives for Sustainability at GreenLagoon and the Positive Social, Wellness, Cultural and Economic Impact on our community and the visitors and Guests we serve.
