Casa Tucán Tranquilo is located on an organic farm that has been inherited and cultivated by 4 generations of our family in Gandoca. We follow the tradition of living in harmony with the land, promoting sustainable agriculture and community-based rural tourism.
Our multicultural roots with Afro-Caribbean and Bribri indigenous ancestors lead us to share and preserve our rich heritage through authentic experiences for our guests. Our goal is to continue this family tradition and pass it on to future generations.
Posada Casa Tucán Tranquilo has a main house with four rooms, two independent houses (casita Garza Tigre y Casita la Perezosa). All of the rooms have a private bathroom, shower and fans. We can provide lodging and meals for a maximum of 32 people in shared rooms.
Posada Casa Tucán Tranquilo is ideal for groups of friends and students who want to visit Gandoca and volunteer in the areas of environmental conservation, community development, sustainable agriculture, and engage in cultural exchange programs.
