| GENERAL INFORMATION
This wildlife area protects one of the most developed coral reefs of the Caribbean coast and the most important of Costa Rica. It also protects a selected area of swamp forest with places full of Raphia palm and sangrillo (pterocarpus michelianus). It also has white sand beaches of great scenic beauty.

LOCATION |
It’s located in the Caribbean littoral of Costa Rica, 60 km to the southeast of the city of Limón, on the road to Bribrí and Sixaola, in the county of Talamanca, province of Limón, La Amistad Caribe Conservation Area. |

MAIN ATTRACTIONS |
Visitors may camp, swim, hike on the trails, observe the behavior of the flora and fauna, dive in the coral reef and practice surf.
Among the fauna you can appreciate are monkeys, sloths, squirrels, coatamundis, hummingbirds, toucans and night herons, among other species.

General information, potable water, restrooms, area for swimming and diving, showers, trails, lunch and camping areas. It was awarded the ecological blue flag. |

REGULATIONS |
| Fire guns are not allowed in the Park.
You must not collect plants or animals within the Park’s limits.
Do not hunt, hurt or disturb animals.
Any pollutant is completely prohibited.
Do not exceed the 25 KPH speed limits.
Pets of any kind or size are strictly forbidden.
Campfires are allowed only at designated grilling areas.
Use only lines and hooks for fishing. Any other technique is prohibited.
Personal belongings are your sole responsibility.
Keep out of the areas signed as dangerous for swimming.
Garbage is not part of the environment; please place it in the provided receptacles or take it back.
